
A sequel to "KICKBACK," University of the Fraser Valley's biggest event series. Bringing lots of energy and vibes to UFV's Abbotsford campus as "Lightning Strikes Twice."
Building on the success of the original Kickback 001, we knew that we had big shoes to fill for this sequel event. Our goal was to create a familiar but fresh experience for the students, while still embodying the energy and essence of the original event. To achieve this, we utilized core assets from the first Kickback and introduced a variety of additions that fit with the new Lightning Strikes Twice theme.
The lightning bolt icon from "001-The return to campus" was repurposed to symbolize empowerment, sparking new connections, and the shock factor that embodied the energy of the event. We also incorporated new elements such as interactive photo booths, live performances, and a variety of food and drink options to keep attendees engaged and entertained throughout the event. Our marketing efforts were also a key factor in the success of Kickback 002. We made use of social media platforms and targeted advertising to spread the word about the event and generate excitement among the UFV community.
